Hublot, the Swiss watchmaker, has long involved in the Yachting world. Well, now it is reported that Hublot is going to launch the Hublot Big Bang Wally watch to consolidate its happy several-year partnership with Wally, the Monaco-based yacht manufacturer.
The Hublot Big Bang Wally watch is again perfect fusion of the innovative materials and design. Sized at 44.5mm, the case, including the bezel. is made from the alloy of aluminum and magnesium called Ag5 and is meticulously blasted. The case back , screws of the movement is done in titanium. The links with Wally yachts are easily found on the colors and the Wally logo located at 9 o’clock. The case, bezel and the dial are in the the same color, while other details including side inserts, indices, and rubber strap, are in black – the contrast just presents a brand-new fine-looking watch of the Hublot Big Bang Collection.
Beating inside the watch is the Hub4001, an automatic chronograph movement, composed of 278 individual parts and 37 jewels. And thanks to the crystal sapphire at both sides and the well-fitted watch crown, the watch is water resistant to 100 meters.
And Hublot Big Bang Wally watch is limited to 500 pieces. Jean-Claude Biver and Luca Bassani will present this watch in person at the the last regattas of the season. Besides, Big Bang Wally has been selected in “Sports watch” category of the prestigious Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Genève awards 2009 due to its impressive design, excellence as well as innovation in using materials.
